Outdoor play is a huge part of our day nursery. Connecting with nature, freely exploring, and learning through imaginative play is hugely beneficial to your child's development.
Engaging activities in line with EYFS learning
Along with outdoor playtimes, our experienced early years' practitioners plan and guide children's activities that are in line with the EYFS guidelines. We encourage active thinking and creative exploration.
Delicious, healthy snacks kids will love
Whilst The Magic Treehouse Day Nursery is packed lunch only, we do provide delicious and nutritious snacks for them to enjoy. Beyond this, children always have access to fresh drinking water.

Am I able to book to visit the day nursery?
We understand you'll be eager to see more of our childcare setting and get to know our team. To arrange a visit with us, get in touch. Depending on availability, we can welcome you into the day nursery the very same day.
Do you offer government-funded childcare places?
Yes! At The Magic Treehouse Day Nursery, we have space for those eligible for the 15 free hours and the 30 free hours of childcare.
My child is 3 years old. Are we eligible for help with childcare?
You can check your eligibility for funded childcare via https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/.
How can I settle my child into the day nursery?
You'll have the chance to sit down with your child's keyworker to complete an 'all about me' booklet, and your child will be free to explore under our supervision. We'll then schedule gentle settling-in sessions that begin with a taster 1-hour session.
What should my child wear when attending nursery?
Though it isn't compulsory, we do have a pre-school uniform that you're welcome to buy for your child. Alternatively, send them in something comfortable that you don't mind getting messy! We recommend you pack a change of clothing that you're welcome to leave to make things easier.
How do you support toilet training for younger children?
Most of the two-year-olds within the setting are in nappies. For those who are potty training, we'll maintain routines as you would at home and encourage use of our potties and toilets, depending on your own preference.
